This Cement Block Jail, 16'x16' replaced the old wooden one Dec. 1914 at a cost of $1,00.  It has 2 cells for men and one for women and was heated by a fireplace.  Located on First Street, Bolivar NY The Hearons Sisters; celebrated singers in hometown Bolivar, NY and across the U.S.; entertained troops in France during WW I. Main Street Bolivar,NY

The Newton House-Bolivar,NY Built in 1881 by D.A.Newton during Oil Boom-Operated until 1920s when torn down.  Stood on corner of Wellsville St. and Main St. where Uni Mart is today.
