Built in early 1950's by Ford & Peckham of Andover,NY. A
"Quonset" frame steel building, it was built for Ed and Bubbles Brest as Brests Boats & Outboard Motors sales and service. The interior of the building showroom was lined with 3/4" white
cedar v-grooved tongue-and-groove boards. In the 1970s the building became the Bill Garvey Cadillac Olds GMC dealership and a building was added to this building to provide a large service
area. After the auto dealership merged with Lester Chevrolet and Hetzel Motors and moved to Main Street the building was vacant for a few years and reopened as a restaurant for a few years.
Most recently, the building is being used as a sales location for heating stoves, fireplaces and outdoor landscaping materials. It is located on the Bolivar Road across from Anne's Bananees
drive-in.
