I know very little about the York family. My Gr.-Gr.-Grandfather Jackson Hunt worked for Hiram York clearing land and pulling stumps after the Civil War. Hiram had a store at Yorks Corners. Jackson Hunt was married to Mary Gardner and there is suppose to be a connection between the Gardner and York families way back.  The picture was in a scrap book my folks had. I was born and raised in Wellsville and most of my ancestors on both sides lived or passed thru the Towns of Willing or Alma.  Keith 4/20/06
