Beekmantown- 1880

Beek'mantown, a post-village of Clinton co., N.Y., in Beekmantown township, 4 1/2 miles by rail N. of Plattsburg. It has 2 churches and a starch-factory. The township is bounded on the E. by Lake Champlain, and is intersected by the railroad from Plattsburg to Mooers. Pop. 2383.
