In a printed pamphlet
on the Methodist Episcopal Church of Boston Corners, it states the
following:-
Methodism at Boston corners dates back to 1830 when the preaching service
was supplied by Billie Hibbard.
The early and prominent members of that little Society were David Eggleston,
Nicholas Brusie, John Owen, John Vosburgh and John Miller.
Dennis Eggleston, son of David, acted as Class Leader.
In 1847, Loyal B. Andrus, Pastor, lived at Boston Corners. It is
interesting to know that Boston Corners is the birth place of many
esteemed Methodist Ministers, namely; Seymour Van Deusen, Clark M.
Eggleston, Nelson Brusie, Charles B. Langdon and Sanford Brusie.
Boston
Corners has been supplied with preaching for over 45 years from Copake.
