Hiram had four wives, the first three died from, or in, Childbirth, the four a sister of the third wife lived long after Hiram died. The two Lasher sister wives are buried with Hiram, and a few of the children in the family plot in Viewmont. Hiram is my great grandfather, and George H. my grandfather. George is also buried in Viewmont Cemetery, just around the corner from the Smith farm and Christ Lutheran Church.
