     John Banim Lodge, No. 83, was instituted May 31, 1872.  Number of members at organization, forty; present number of members, eighty.  The officers for 1878 are M. J. Crapser, Past Chancellor; Jacob Wronski, Chancellor Commander; E. T. Denegar, Vice-Chancellor; H. Moores, Prelate; C. Champlin, Keeper of Record and Seal; H. T. Waterman, 2d Master of Finance; L. Geiger, Master of Exchequer; S. G. George, Master at Arms; John Keneyon, Outer Guard.  The Lodge meets at Odd-Fellows' hall.
