MYRON POUCHER

     Myron POUCHER, Age - 20;  Height 5' 4 3/4 "; Complexion -Light;  Eyes- Hazel; Hair- Dark;  Born- Claverack, Columbia, NY (1842);  Occupation - Farmer. He was enlisted Aug 11, 1862, at Claverack by Edward Gifford for a term of three years.  He was enrolled in Company A, 128th Reg't., N.Y. Infantry.  He was instantly killed on the day of the Assault of Port Huron, LA. May 27, 1863.  Place of Burial unknown.   ( Myron was one of eight children  of  Daniel Poucher, and Hanna Unknown Poucher .   Father Daniel Poucher  born 14 Jan 1805, Claverack # 4095 bap 3-3-1805, and mother Hanna born abt. 1807.) The wife Hanna and her other Children in Daniel Pouchers family are dispersed to several local families in Claverack , evident in 1860 Federal Census.
