Whereas there has been intention of Marriage Between David Marshall Son of David Marshall Deceased & Ann Marshall of Greenwich in fairfield County and colony of Connecticut and Rebecca Baker Daughter of Thomas and Mary Baker of North Castle in WestChester County and Province of New York. They having declared their Said intentions before Several Monthly Meetings of the People Called Quakers at the Purchass and Mamaroneck According to the good order used among said People Whose Proceeding after a Deliberate consideration and consent of Parents and nothing appearing to obstruct their Said intention was approved by said Monthly Meeting. Now these are to certify all whom it may Concern that for the Accomplishing their Said intention this Sixteenth Day of the twelfth month Called December, one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty two, The Said David Marshall and Rebecca Baker presented themselves in a Publick Meeting of Said People and others at the Meeting House in Shapaqua the said David Marshall taking the Said Rebecca Baker by the hand did in a Solemn manner declare that he took her to be his Wife Promising to be a true & loving Husband Untill Death Should Separate them. Then and There in the Same manner the Said Rebecca Baker did also declare that She took the Said David Marshall to be her Husband Promising to be a true and loving Wife untill Death or to that effeck. Moreover the Said David and Rebecca his wife did then and there Set their Names, She asuming the name of her Husband, as a further confirmation of their Marriage and we whose names are hereunto subscribed being among others at the Solemnization of Said Marriage and Subscription as aforesaid have also as Witness set our Hands to these Presents.

Whereas Zacheous Marshall Son of David Marshall and anna his wife of the State of Connectticutt Both Deceast and Jane Quinby Daughter of Samuel Quinby and Ann his Wife Diceast of the town of North Castle County of Westchester and State of New York having Daklared their Intentions of Marriage with Each other Befor two monthly Meetings of the People called Quakers held at the Creek in the town of Clinton County of Dutchess and State aforesaid According to the good order used Amongst them and they having Concent of Parents and parties Concerned and Nothing Appearing to obstruct their said Proposals were Allowed of by said Meeting-- Now these are to Certify All whom it may Concern that for the full Accomplishment of their said intentions this twenty fourth Day of the fourth Month Eighteen hundred and Six They the said Zacheous Marshall & Jane Quinby Appeared in A publick Meeting of the said People at Crumelbow in the town aforesaid And the said Zacheous Marshall taking the said Jane Quinby by the hand did in A solemn Manner openly Declare that he took the said Jane Quinby to be his promising through Divine assistance to be Unto her A faithfull and loving Husband Until Death seperates them or words to that Effect And then and their in the Said assembly the Said Jane Quinby Did in like Manner Openly Declare that she took the Said Zacheous Marshall to be her husband Promising through Divine assistance to be unto him a faithfull and loving Wife untill Death seperates them or words to that Import and Moreover they the said Zacheous Marshall and Jane Quinby the according to the custom of Marriage assuming the name of her Husband as further Confermation theirof Did then and their to these Presents set their hand and we whoes names are hereunto subscribed being Present at the Solemnization of Said Marriage And subscription have as witnesses hereunto set our hand, the Day and year above written

Punctuation added. Henry C. Sutton of the town of New Paltz County of Ulster and State of New York, son of David Sutton and Sophia [indecipherable] his wife, and Elizabeth D. Garmo daughter of Peter DGarmo and Mary his wife of the Town of Hyde Park County of Dutchess and State of New York, having said their intentions of marriage with each other before tow monthly meetings of the religious Society of friends held at Crum Elbow and Creek in the State aforesaid, they having consent of Parents and nothing appending to obstruct the said proposal of marriage, was allowed by the meeting. They are to certify that for the accomplishment of their intentions this twenty-fourth day of third mongh, in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five they the said Henry C. Sutton and Elizabeth DGarmo appeared in a public meeting of said Society held at Crumelbow and the said Henry C. Sutton taking the said Elizabeth DGarmo by the hand did on this solemn occation declare that he took her to be his wife promising through Divine assistance to be unto her a faithful and loving husband untill seperated by death, or words to that effect, and then the said Elizabeth DGarmo did in like manner declare that she took the said Henry C. Sutton to be her husband promising through devine assistance to be unto him a faithful and loving wife untill Sepperate by, or words to that import, and they the said Henry C. Sutton and Elizabeth DGarmo, she according to the custom of marriage assuming the name of her husband as a farther confirmation thereof, did then and there to these presents set their hands. Henry C. Sutton And we being present subscribe our names as witnesses thereof.

Marriages 1740-1892, Box NE-137, page 60 Whereas Rowland Robinson of Westerly in Kings County in the Colony of Rhode Island in New England Son of John Robinson of the Town County and Colony above and Elizabeth Palmer of Stonington in the County of New London and Colony of Connecticut, Daughter of William Palmer of Said Stoningtown, Haveing Declared their Intention of taking Each other in marriage before Several publick meetings of the people of God Called Quackers in the Towne of Kingston and Westerly according to the good order [...] amongst them [...] hope proceedings therein after a Delibrate Consideration tharof with Regard to the Righteous Law of God and Example of his people Recorded in the Scriptures of Truth in that Case were approved by the Said meetings they appearing Clear of all others and having Concent of parents and others Concerned Now these are to Cartifie all whome it may Concern that for the full accomplishing of their Said Intention this Twenty Sixth Day of ye Seventh month Called July AD:1746 they the Said Rowland Robinson and Elisabeth Palmer appeared in a publick assembly of the foresaid peoples and others met together for that purpose in their publick meeting house in the above said [...] and in Solmn manner he the Said Rowland Robinson taking the Said Elisabeth Palmer by the hand did openly Declare as followeth friends I Desire you to be my witness that I Take this my friend Elisabeth Palmer to be my wife [...] mising through the Lords assistance to be a true and Loving Husband to her untill it Shall please God by Death to Seprate us and then and there in the Said assembly the Said Elisabeth palmer Did in like manner Declare as followeth friends I Desire you to be my witnesses that I take this my friend Rowland Robinson to be my Husband promising through the Lords assistance to be a true and Loving wife to him untill it Shall please God by Death to Seprate us and the Rowland Robinson and Elisabeth Palmer as a further Confirmation thereof Did then and there to these presents Set their hands and She assuming the name of her husband and we whose names are here unto Subscribed being present amongst others at the Solmnizing of their Said marriage and Subscription in manner as aforesaid as Witnesses here unto have also to these presents Subscribed our names the Day above written.
