| The information is from a map made for Morgan Lewis
showing the "Wittenburgh Tract", land which included most of
the southern half of Rhinebeck. The map was recently
restored and copies have been printed for sale. They may be
ordered from the Rhinebeck Historical Society, PO Box 291, Rhinebeck, NY
12572 for $7 including postage. The map shows each parcel of land,
the owner in 1802 and the original leasee, as well as acreage and other
notes. A chart is included on the map, showing additional information.
This database was prepared by copying all information from each parcel
and the accompanying chart as printed on the map.
This map is owned and was recently restored by the Rhinebeck Historical Society. |
