Wheras by an act of Generall Assembly entiteled an act for better explaining and more Effectual putting in execution an act of Generall Assembly made in the third year of King William & Queen Mary entiteled an act for defrayieng the publick and nessessary Charge throughout this Province and for maintaining the poor and preventing of Vagabonds made in the second year of Queen Anne. By vertue of the same the supervizors have caused the assessors to rate all the real and Personal estates of all the freeholders inhabitants residents and sojourners of the South Ward of the County of Dutchess to discahrge said wards part of the publick & nessessary Charge of the County of Dutchess to ye year one thousand seven hundred & twenty six And seven on the twenty fifth day of anuary in the thirteenth year of his Majestys Reign And pursuant thereunto have annexed a list & tax rolle and are to pay after the rate of Four pence farthing pr pound Ano 1726/7
