Wheras by an act of Generall Assembly entiteled an act for better explaining and more Effectual putting in execution an act of Generall Assembly made in the third year of King William & Queen Mary entiteled an act for defrayieng the publick and nessessary Charge throughout this Province and for maintaining the poor and preventing of Vagabonds made in the second year of Queen Anne. By vertue of the same the supervizors have caused the assessors to rate all the real and Personal estates of all the freeholders inhabitants residents and sojourners of the Middel Ward of the County of Dutchess to discahrge said wards part of the publick & nessessary Charge of the County of Dutchess to ye year one thousand seven hundred & twenty seven And eight on the twenty third day of January in the first year of his Majestys Reign King George the second and pursuant thereunto have annexed a list & tax roll and are to pay After the rate of three pence pr pound.
