You are to pay Mr Abraham De Peyster Junr Treasuror at New York these above Mentioned two Kings taxes for each ward at or before the first day of May now next Ensuing saveing to yourselfs nine pence in the pound for collecting and paying the Aforesaid sume or sumes of money; Yoe are to observe that you likewise pay to theTreasuror for ye County of Dutchess Mr Lowerence Van Kleeck your proportion of Yye County charges as above mentioned at or before the twenty fifth day of this instant March saveing to yourselves nine pence in the pound for collecting & paying the Aforsaid sumes and if any person or persons deny refuse neglect or delay to pay unto You such sume or sumes of money as aforesaid as you shall find mentioned in your Tax rolls then you are impowered to destraint levey the sum on his or their goods and Chattels and to dispose of ye destress so taken as the law doth direct for so dowing this Shall be your sufficient warrant hereof fail not at your Vttmost perill given Vnder our Hands & seals at Pocghkeepsink in sd County this first day of March in the first year Of his Majestys reign Anno q Domini 1727/8 Note that thare will be left in the Treasurors Hands Mr Lowerence Van Kleeck over & above the money to be payd the sum of four Pounds sisteen shillings & one penny.
