IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the twenty seventh day of December in the year of Our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and twenty five I Thomas Harris of Dutchess County in the Province of New York in America; Being sick of body but of Perfect and sound memory praised be God for the same do make this my last will and Testament as followeth (that is to say) first I commend my soul to Almighty God that Gave it me and my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named hoping in and through the merrits and intersession of Jesus Christ my saviour for a joyfull resurection to everlasting life and glory and as for The disposall of such worldly Estate as God of his mercy has been pleased to bestow Upon me; I do give divise and bequeath the same in manner and forme following (that is to say) first I give and bequeath to my loving Daughter Maryam house wife ti Benjaman Colt at Lime in Cunectticut Collony three pound of current money of New York; and to the end that my just debts legacys and funeral expences may be the better Paid and defrayed; It is my will and mind that my Executor hereafter named; Shall be Invested by these presents with full and absolute power to grant bargaine and sell all or Any part of my Estate reall or personall to any person or persons whatsoever and when Sold to grant and execute sufficient conveyances in the law for the same which conveyance so by my said Executor executed shall be as good and authentick in the law to all Intents constructions and purposes as if they were acted done and executed by my self in Person in my life time- Executor of this my last will and testament I make and ordaine My loving friend Henry Van Derburgh and revoakeing all other wills and testaments Heretofore by me made either in words or writing I declare this to be my hand and seale The day and year first above written.

Judge of the Court of Common Pleas for said County of Dutchess Assigned assisted with Barent Van Kleeck & Peter Van Kleeck Esqr. Justices of the Peace for said County assigned to all whome these presents shall come or may conserne GREETING KNOW YEE that Thomas Harris of Dutchess County deceased haveing by Last will and testament which is hereunto affixed bareing date the twenty seventh day Of December in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and twenty five; haveing while he lived at the time of his death goods Chattells & Creditts in divers places within this County of Dutchess aforesaid by meanes whereof the full disposition of all and singular the goods Chattels & Creditts of the said deceased and the granting the administration of them; also the hearing of accoumpts calculation or reckening & the finall discharge & dismision from the same unto us belonging by virtue of an act of Generall assembly entituled an act for the Supervizeing intestes Estates and Regulateing the probate of wills and granting letters of administration; and the administration of all and singular the goods Chattells & Credits of the said decesed in any manner of wayes concerning is hereby granted unto Henry Van Der Burgh Esqr executor of the Last will and testament of the said decased hee giveing And delivering in the Clerks office of this County an inventory of the same and renderAn account of his doing in the pemises when thereunto requred IN TESTIMONY Whereof the Judge and Justices have hereunto putt theire hands in Pocghkeepsing In Dutchess County this twenty second day of February in the twelfth year of his Majesties Reigne Annoq Domini 1725/6Leonard LewisJudge Barent Van Kleeck justicePieter Van Kleeck ysties
