*NEW*  Much thanks goes to Dee Pavey for all the time and effort she has devoted to this site as Erie County Coordinator.   As Dee now devotes more time to her family, I am happy to take over the role of Erie County Coordinator.  My family roots in Western New York go back to 1802 and in America to 1624...I'm looking forward to continuing to help all those who reach out to discover the many facets of our rich ancestral heritage.  -George Thomas Apfel
