Artemas COON (b. 1793, NY, d. 1872, IA) and wife, Cyrena/Serena JACKSON (b.1797, NY, d. 1880, WI), settled in the Town of Perrysburg, by the 1820 census. Residents of that place until about 1834, when they moved to Town of Dayton and Collins, Erie Co. By 1850, the Coons relocated in Crawford Co., PA, and then to Marquette Co., WI, by 1855. Artemas and Cyrena had at least 12 children, only 9 are known, born between 1820-1843, in Cattaraugus and Erie Counties. Seeking ancestry of Artemas COON and Cyrena JACKSON (d. record says dau. of Eben and Sarah Jackson). Will gladly share all information. I have. Thank you.

In 1837 Samuel PHILLIPS was listed in the Buffalo city directory as working at J. Jackson's canal dock. What type of work would he have been doing? In 1842 Samuel PHILLIPS was a brick maker, hydrolics. What type of work would this have been? In 1844 Samuel PHILLIPS was listed at a brick maker, north hodrolic canal back of the oakum factory. Again, what kind of work was Samuel doing? If anyone has Samuel in his family records, I have several generations of this Phillips family in my records. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you.

Searching for descendants of Angelus KIRWAN, born 30 Sept 1885 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Thomas KIRWAN and Mary Ann CONNOLLY. Angelus married Alice FOLEY in Buffalo and they had three children: Helen b circa 1913, married William DALEY; Alice b 1919, married Willard WALLACE; Jack b 1915, d before 1920; The family moved to California in the 1930's - possibly to the La Jolla area. Angelus died 25 Dec 1969. I would like to contact any descendants of the line, or anyone who may also be tracing this family.

Herb or Herbert MILLER, 1930 possibly through 1970's. Served in World War II. May have died in the war. The name did come up through Forest Lawn Cemetery, not sure if he's the one. No known next of kin.
