Adeline KELECHKA married 1st Adolph PAPKE. Their children born in Buffalo, NY. William b 1874, Susan b 1876 Kate b 1880 Edward Adolph b 1884 Adeline b 1887 Lizzie b 1890. Adeline married 2nd Christ SITTENHERLM who had 2 sons Christ b 1885 and John b 1887. Resided in Buffalo in 1900 census. What became of them ? Adeline & Christ probably died before 1920 census. Where are they buried ?

Ottilia PAPKE arrived in NY on 5 Aug 1872 at the age of 4 months. Where in Prussia/Germany did she come from? She married August STYN in 1889 and they had 11 children born in Buffalo, NY. Their daughters: Mary married 1st Jacob HELMBRICHT, married 2nd William RAHERNSON. Helen married? LOBLOW. Elizabeth married ? FRANK. Anna married ? ZIMPFER. Sons were John, George, Edward & Woodrow STYN.

I am looking for information on George BATES. He was born in 1866 reportedly in the Buffalo area. He moved and settled in Chemung Co. Someone in his family reported owned a hotel in the Buffalo area. They kept a parrot and monkey in the lobby. Thanks.

I am searching for any information on the ancestors and descendants of Darius TAYLOR and Hulda (JENKS or WARREN). I believe they were m: about 1835 in Erie or Essex County, NY. Hulda may have been previously married to a Mr. JENKS. Darius d: 5 Feb. 1885, Hulda d: 9 March 1886. Both died in Georgetown, Madison NY. Darius served in the army in 1838 during the Patriot War. He enlisted in the Buffalo, NY area. In 1840 the family was living in Eaton, Madison Co., NY. Children include Nathan J. Looking for information on Philip YOCKEY and Sallie (Madelin Salone) HOWRY. Names were changed from JAKY and HOURY. They lived in the Buffalo area from approx. 1845 to 1865. They came over by boat together and married in approx. 1846. They were German, but had been born in Alsace Lorraine (Phillipsbourg, Moselle, France) They later moved to Saginaw Michigan.

Seeking information on James COLLINS and his wife, Ellen or Helen, who lived in Buffalo circa 1889. They are said to have immigrated from County Claire, Ireland. Looking for John AVERS and his wife, Engeline TREMS who were born in Germany about 1805. They moved to Buffalo, New York prior to 1834 and at least 2 children were born there. Maria Elisabeth Avers was born 12 Dec 1834 and John Henry Harmon Avers was born 4 Dec 1848 in Buffalo, New York. The family settled in Sandusky Co., Ohio in the mid 1850's.

Who were the parents of Martha BROWN b. 1801 in Rhode Island? She arrived in Erie Co. NY c. 1818 prob. with her parents. She married Erastus GRAVES in Sardinia, Erie Co. NY in 1820. Their first child was Joseph Franklin GRAVES b. 8 Oct 1821. At least 10 men with the last name BROWN bought land in Erie Co. between 1815-1819.

LAPP, Jacob S. of Clarence, Erie Co. NY and wife Mary SNEARLY are my ancestors. Jacob S. LAPP was born in Hopewell, Ontario Co. NY on Nov.14, 1829 and was married to Mary SNEARLY on Nov 17, 1853 in Clarence, NY. I am seeking others connected to these Mennonite families. Also, his obituary states, "Mr. LAPP served during the war of the Rebellion in Co. K, First Regiment of Frontier Cavalry." Is this a NY Regiment, and is this the full and proper name of the regiment? I am interested in the history of this Regiment and Company during the Civil War. I have substantial LAPP information.

Searching for marriage and death information of John LAUX, born 1834 in Luxembourg or Prussia and came to this country in approximately 1850 with his 3 brothers, Michel, John Peter, and John C. LAUX.
