DALE, EASTWAY posted by Mike Henry on Wednesday, March 5, 1997

I am looking for information about James Bates EASTWAY and his wife Patty (DALE) EASTWAY, who immigrated to Eden Twp, Erie County, NY, around 1833. In the 1850 Census for Erie County, they were living with their children Elias, Margaret, Patty, Edwin, Harriet, Ellen, and Egbert. Not far from them where two other daughters, domestic servants, named Mary and Martha. The Eastways moved to Ottawa County, Michigan, after 1850 -- but not all of them. Did any stay in Erie County and marry/die there? Thanks.

I have found a Fred STECKMANN and a Paul STECKMANN who filed for naturalization in 1892 in Catt. Co. and were granted citizenship in 1894. I have traced Paul STECKMANN and his family to Salamanca. I have found Fred STECKMANN in the 1892, 1900 and 1905 Machias Census, but Henrietta (Yettie) is not linked to him--she married John F. Drayer in 1889. The STECKMANN family were farmers. If anyone has any information about Fred STECKMANN and/or anyone with the last name of LITKE, I would appreciate hearing from you. I am happy to share any information I have. Thank you!

I am looking for any link or connection someone may have in their genealogy.
