Dr. Daniel ALLEN was a practicing physician in Hamburg, Erie Co. NY in 1810. He went with his wife Olive ENGLISH (b. Cornwallis, Annapolis, Nova Scotia in 1782, d 1864) and his son Lucius to Walworth Co., Wisconsin in 1838's where they both entered land from the government (in 1839 and 1840). Want more information on Daniel, where was he born, who were his parents, where did he get his medical education, when and where were they married, and after he sold his land to his son did he die (1859) in Wisconsin or did he return to NY?

My Grandfather Eugene LaFayette HILL was born 24 Mar 1902 Buffalo, NY. I would like to obtain a birth certificate but still unsure where to send for it. Mother Mayme Mary RYERSE b 11 Jun 1882 Ont. Canada, Father Harold HILL born possibly in Salem, OR. Two other children were Jessie Mae HILL born 16 Apr 1904 Buffalo NY and Milton Harod HILL 28 Sep 1908 Buffalo NY.

William CLARK, b. about 1808 NH, and his brother Bradford, b. about 1802 NH, went to Buffalo about 1825-1830. William was married to Susan WOOLIVAR, and they had John, Bradford, Charles, Pierce, and Catherine. Bradford was married to ? and had Carrie, George, Alfred, and William. I'm looking for their father Daniel CLARK and wife Betsy, all of whose children left NH about the same time; but I don't know why or what happened to Daniel and Betsy. William and Bradford were millwrights.

Looking for information on John MCGOWEN who came from Scotland after 1818 and settled in Buffalo. Wife was Katherine MCCOLLIN or BURGOYNE, not sure which. They had a son Edward J. MCGOWEN who later moved to Port Huron, MI. Katherine lived to be 106 and died about 1871 in Port Huron.

Am looking for information/descendants re: William ROLLER and several other Rollers interred in Forest Lawn. Understand that a ROLLER used to work for the News during the 1800's. My great-grandmother was a Roller and I believe her aunt married a Christopher KELBERER. I'm told the KELBERER's used to run some cattle yards down on William Street.

Searching for information regarding Alma (CHRISTMAS) GOODKOOP. According to her father's obituary (dated 30 Sep 1941-Miami Herald, Miami, Florida); Alma was living in Mt. Vernon, NY. Seeking any information on this person and/or her descendants. (Even looking in an old city directory might yield some clues as to her residence and spouse's name and would be greatly appreciated!) Would love to know the name of her spouse and when/where they were married. I can only guess they probably married between 1935-1941. I live in Florida so research in NY for me is very difficult. Please help! Will gladly trade for Florida research. (I live in the greater Tampa/St. Petersburg area.)

Seeking any information on a Samuel CRAIN (CRANE) living in Erie County in the early 1800s. US census list him as living in:1820-1850 - Wales, 1860 - Elma. Also, information on his wife: Lucinda or Nettie CARPENTER, son Franklin. Other children are believed to include: 3-4 sons (names unknown) and daughters: Harriet, Sophia, & Elvira. Jakub PASTULA, emigrated to the US twice. Both times were to the Western New York area. The first time was in 1902, where he married Rozali DLUZEN, in 1905 at West Seneca, NY. The second time was in 1912, when he was said to be joining his Brother-in-law Ludwik KSIAZEK at Lackawanna, NY. This was the last information available on Jakub as he then disappeared.

I am searching for information on my Grandmother Geraldine Marie SMITH. She was living in the area of Lackawanna New York. She was married and had a child, a boy. SMITH was her maiden name and she was from Benezette, (Elk County) PA. She left the area in 1929 or 1928 and moved back to Emporium, (Cameron County) PA - here she meet my Grandfather Charles JESSUP. They were married in 1930 and he adopted her son, his name was William JESSUP.

She died and he remarried again, to Anna CROUTS in 1893. Philip died on 29 Dec 1904 in Williams Center, Ohio.
