My g-grandfather, Henry BURNELL came to the US ca. 1890 from Ireland with his two brothers. Henry and one brother went to the logging camps of central PA. The third brother allegedly headed for the Erie PA area. Hence I am searching NW PA, W NY and NE OH for a link that might enable me to trace that line. I suppose there is a possibility that the name was changed, as family lore indicates that the brothers stowed away to escape situations in Ireland. If that story sounds familiar, I would love to make contact.
