Orra WARREN and Seth WASHBURN. Orra WARREN was the first female to be born Dec 1805 in Aurora, Erie Co., NY as published in "J.H.French Gazetteer of the State of NY (Syracuse, NY: R.Pearsall Smith, 1860, pg. 283. Orra married Oct 1825 Aurora, Erie Co., NY to Seth WASHBURN b. Newport or Fremont Township., NY (problem is I do not know where they are located). Seth and Orra moved to Lake County, IL and then to Red Wing, MN where they both died. Children of Orra and Seth are: Luman - b. 1826? NY William W. - b. 31 Mar 1826 NY Jessie A. - b. abt. 1830 NY - died onboard steamer "City of Memphis" (Civil War death) Harriet - b. 1830? NY Warren - b. ? NY Lucy E. - b. abt 1848 IL Millard F. - b. abt. 1850 IL Have written trying to locate Seth and Orra's marriage certificate but have had no luck. Would anyone know where I would try to get one and a birth record for Orra and Seth? Am also interested in getting info on Orra's parentage. Will share any info I have. Looking for information on: Mrs. Catharine MCGARRY YORK, died at home of her son-in-law, Mr. Wm. GRANT, 46 Mary street, Hamilton,Ontario. She was a native of Mulligar, County Westmeath, Ireland, and came to Canada with her parents in 1821. Her father's name was James MCGARRY (uncle of James MCGARRY, Esq., of Niagara Falls,) and after living at Johnstown and Queenston the family moved to Buffalo, where the parents both died. The deceased had, however, remained at Queenston, and in 1820 she married Robert S. YORK,

I'de like to see if could find the relatives of someone from a gravestone rubbing I did when I was a child at a very old graveyard on Broadway heading east out of Alden. There are alot of old graves...some still legible. This persons name is William TERRY son of Willard and Anna TERRY. He was only 20 when he died Apr 10, 1826. Seeking information on Johann Christian LEWIS or LOUIS, born in Germany. He married Dorothea Sophia Charlotte CORZ, October 1, 1854 in NY. They resided in the Erie Co. area, and had children Theodore Johann Carl, Mary Charlotte, Fredrick J, George Charles, Anna Fredricke Sophia, Louise Wilhelmina Pauline, Joseph, and Magdalena Anna. ZIELINSKI. Seeking information on the descendants of Casmier Zielinski and Antonina Pawlak. Casmier died in Buffalo Sept 25, 1939. Antonina died in Buffalo Dec. 5, 1942. They had 3 daughters. Jessie married Charles Kaczor (Cutcher) and later married Albert Buterfield. She was also known as Jessie Green, and lived at 160 Townsend St in 1930. There was a Maryann (B Oct 1894) and Elizabeth Zielinski (B June 1906) and Franciszek born June 1910 all in Salamanca. The family moved to Buffalo. Any relatives out there?

Looking for twin sister of my husbands grandmother. Ida GAGE (nee CAMPBELL) born 13 Dec. 1869 in Brocton, Chautaugua, Co. NY,. Married Jason GAGE, possibly in Westfield, Chautauqua Co. NY. Jason & Ida GAGE lived in Bay View, NY., where he died on Dec. 5, 1925. Body prepared for burial at Hamburg, NY, and he was buried in Oak Hill Cemetary, Bradford, Pa. His obituary says that he was survived by his wife and three sons, Carlton, Calvin J., and Max Merrell. Would appreciate any information on Ida such as her date of death and place of burial. I am trying to find information on Robert Ernest WILLIAMS, and his wife, Margaret MORRISSEY. Robert was born in Kentwood, LA on 22 Jul 1901 and may have died in New York City in 1972. Margaret was born 1906? in (probably) Buffalo, NY and died (possibly) in 1989 in Buffalo. She was the d/o William Morrissey and Josephine Mack. Robert and Margaret married in NY in 1920; had two sons, Robert Ernest, Jr. (b. 1923 - d. 1995?) and Willie (b. 1926 - d. 1989?); and lived in Lackawanna for a number of years. In 1942, Robert Sr. and Robert Jr. were working for Bethlehem Steel Company. Any information on this family will be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for descendants of Jacob & Mary (VETTER) SPITTLER who came to Western NY from Haszlock, Germany in 1846 with children Mary, George & Kate. Their son Charles was born on the ship crossing the Atlantic and other children William, Frederick, Tilda & Albert were born in the USA. Charles became a shoemaker like his father Jacob, married Elizabeth PECK from Buffalo and had children Ida, Flora, Herbert, Albert, Everett, Chester and George. George opened a grocery store in North Evans (south side of 18-Mile Creek) with his brother Chester then soon after married Edith METZ of Eden, NY, moved to Lake View, NY (north side of 18-Mile Creek) and started his own grocery store, which he operated until his death in 1958.

I am searching for info on my grandfather, Frank J. FRANCE (1902-1969). He married Ida Katherine HENSHAW. He was born in Boston, Mass, & lived in Buffalo for most of his life. He was the son of Mary ? & Augustino FORENZO or FORENZA. We believe that Frank's birth name was something along the lines of Frantz FORENZO or FORENZA. He owned a liquor store on Franklin St in Buffalo. He also lived in Duluth, Minn, during his life.
