Deaths at Canandaigua--Mrs. Jony RANNIE and Mrs. Patrick BARRY.
January 2 --yesterday at the late residence on Chapin street was held
the
funeral of Mrs. Jony RANNIE, of this place, who died on Saturday, aged
about
85 years. Deceased was a native of London, England, but had resided
in this
country for many years, being a resident of Palmyra, Wayne county,
for a long
time. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. William M. Smith and
Mrs. Alex.
Grieve, both this place.
Mrs. Patrick BARRY, well-known in this place, died on Saturday at her
home on
Chapin street, aged about 80 years.
Lyons, NY: Mrs. Henry BERNS died yesterday afternoon from the
effects of a
stroke of paralysis received Friday morning. She was about 65
years of age.
Deceased is susrvived by a husband and by children, Otto Berns of Rochester,
Henry A. Berns of Elmira, Mrs. Anna Abert of Peterson, NJ, and Louis
Berns
and Ernst F. Berns of this village.
The funeral of Miss Louise SISSON was held Sunday afternoon from the
home of
her father, Dr. Frank M. Sisson, on Lawrence street.
