It is reported in Kansas that the rebel raider Quantrell is still alive.
The Empress Eugenie, it is reported, is in treaty for the sale of her diamonds, valued at 1,000,000.
It is said the Jim Fisk proposes to buy Goat Island, Niagara, build a magnificent hotel there, and make all the approaches to it free.
Female suffrage was indulged in at the recent Republican primary election in Titusville, Georgia. Mrs. Charles U. Brett, walked up to the polls and deposited her vote with her husband.
The dearest notes of the times were those produced by Vivier, the renowned French horn player, at a private concert at the mansion of Lady Castleton, in England. He received $3,00 for playing four pieces.
