Miss Charlotte DEWEY, aged nearly 83 years. Miss Charlotte DEWEY, who died at the residence of
her sister in law, Mrs. Nancy DEWEY, on the 28th ult., and
was buried from the same place on Tuesday afternoon, last week, has long
been a resident of this village and vicinity.
She was born in this town in 1803, so that she had nearly
accomplished her 83rd year.
She was a faithful and consistent Christian, and had held a
membership in the Baptist church in Manchester, for fifty-four years.
In the circle of her friends she will be missed, for though many
years an invalid, she possessed many winning traits of character that
