for 40 years. He was a member of the Monroe County, New York State, and American
Bar Associations. During his career he served as a Trustee of the Monroe County
Bar Association, Trustee of the Monroe County Bar Foundation, and on numerous
committees of the Bar Association.
Outside the law, Roger had many interests, but his
devotion to his family and church always came first. He and Carole
were active members of both Reformation and
Incarnate
Word
Lutheran
Churches
for nearly 40 years. If the law was his vocation, then singing was his
avocation. Roger sang for years in the choirs of
both churches and was a member of the Eastman Rochester Chorus. His love of both
classical and sacred music brought him much comfort, joy, and peace.
He played softball for many years with his beloved Leagle Eagles, loved the game
of golf, and was an avid supporter of
Syracuse
University
athletics. Roger and Carole loved spending summer
weekends with family and close friends at their cottage on

boating, swimming, kayaking and hiking.
