its expression of sympathy with the bereaved family of our former member, Mr.
Henry M. Cuykendall.
In their great loss and sorrow through his death, and to record the high
esteem in which he was held by his fellow members. It was due to his active
urgency several years ago, that a volunteer Fire Department was organized in the
village of Victor, and by his continued fostering was thoroughly equipped with
apparatus for modern use.
The department members have been stimulated by his sincere interest and
helped by his good fellowship, and the entire community has been the beneficiary
of his service, It is hereby resolved That this memorial minute be entered upon
the records of the Department and published in the Victor press, and that a copy
be sent to the family of our brother.
At Victor, March 28, 1917,
