Frank was born 1865 and was the son of Elihu E. Briggs and Emeline Reed. Frank died April 07, 1932 Canandaigua, New York, at 66 years of age.

Mary Elizabeth2 Dunn was born 1856. Mary died 1953 at 97 years of age. Her body was interred 1953 East Bloomfield, New York, East Bloomfield Cemetery.

Samuel was the son of William Ripper Mason

MASON
EAST BLOOMFIELD
Samuel
Mason, a prominent citizen and life long resident of East Bloomfield, died
at Memorial hospital on Saturday. He
had been in poor health for some time and on Friday submitted to a critical
operation. Deceased was a son of William and Anne Mason, and was born
here 63 years ago.
He
is survived by his wife and by four daughters, Mrs. Marcus G. Doyle, of
Monroe, Miss Maude Mason of E. Bloomfield, Frances, of New York
City, and Mabelle of Secoit, and by two sons, Harold and Claude,
who are at home.
He
is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. P. D. Gurne and Mrs. William Cain,
of E. Bloomfield, and Mrs. Susan Murrell, of Canandaigua, and by three
brothers, James, of Buffalo, Thomas, of Canandaigua, and Arthur,
of Holcomb.
The funeral was held from the family home on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Ernest E. Davis, pastor of the Methodist church, and burial was made in the village cemetery.

DURAND
- Luman Munson Durand, a
life long resident of Canandaigua passed away at his home on Howell Street early
on Saturday morning. The cause of
death was paralysis from which he recently suffered.
Deceased
was born on July 7, 1833, a son of the late Elias and Michel Hickox Durand.
His mother reached the great age of 103 years.
A strong man physically, Mr. Durand seemed by nature to carry the
burden of many activities in which he had been engaged.
He was a citizen of the highest character his whole life, being upright
and honorable in all things.
He
leaves his wife Letitia Durand, two sons, Seymour E. and Luman H.
Durand, both of Canandaigua, two brothers, Rufus Durand of
Canandaigua, and Henry A. Durand, of Washington, DC, a sister, Miss
Myra Durand of Canandaigua. Rev.
Livingston L. Taylor officiated at the funeral on Sunday afternoon.
Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.

- DURAND
At Canandaigua, April 30, 1925, Mrs. Leticia Gillette Durand, aged 80 years, widow of Luman M. Durand.
Mrs.
Luman M. Durand - The death of Mrs. Leticia Gillette Durand,
widow of the late Luman M. Durand, occurred at her home in Park Street,
this city, following a long illness, at noon on Thursday.
Mrs.
Durand was born in Canandaigua November 30, 1844, the daughter of Seymour
and Phoebe Johnson Gillette, and had lived here all her life. She was
married in January, 1863 to Luman Munson Durand. They celebrated their
golden wedding anniversary in 1913. Mr. Durand died in April 1920.
Deceased leaves a daughter and two sons, Miss Gertrude L. Durand, Seymour E. Durand and Luman H. Durand, all of this city, also three grandchildren, Misses Katherine L. and Margaret J. Durand and S. LaVerne Durand of Canandaigua. The funeral service was held at the home Saturday. Interment at Woodlawn.

Elias3 Durand
was born Canandaigua, New York April 07, 1864.
Seymour died March 11, 1946 Canandaigua, New York,
at 81 years of age.
Funeral services for Seymour Elias
Durand, 81, who died at his home in
Gibson Street, Monday morning, March 11, 1946, after a brief illness of
pneumonia, were held from the home Wednesday PM. The Rev. Richard H Bowen
officiated. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Born April 7, 1864 in Canandaigua town, he was the son of
Luman M. and
Leticia Gillett Durand and had been a lifelong resident, with the exception of
five years spent in Buffalo.
He attended old Canandaigua Academy. For a number of years he was engaged
in the meat business with his father. On March 1, 1909, Mr. Durand was appointed
rural carrier for the Canandaigua Post Office and served 23 years on what was
then Route 4 to Bristol Center and vicinity. He retired on pension in July 1932.
He was an original member of the Merrill Hose Company. On February 22, 1888, Mr. Durand was married to Miss Jennie
Supplee, of Canandaigua, and observed their 58th anniversary last month.
Besides his wife, survivors are a son and two daughters, S. LeVerne Durand, Miss Katherine L., and Miss Margaret J. Durand, and a sister and brother, Miss Gertrude L. and Luman H. Durand, all of this city.

the residence of the bride's parents, Canandaigua, NY, Feb. 22, 1888, by the
Rev. S. A. McKay, Mr. Seymour Durand
and Miss Jennie Supplee, both of Canandaigua.
Mary was born Canandaigua, New York September 2, 1867. Mary was the daughter of Charles Yerkes Supplee and Catherine Rohrer. Mary died July 17, 1956 Canandaigua, New York, at 88 years of age.
Obituary - Mrs. Seymour Durand
Mrs. Jennie
Supplee Durand, 88, widow of Seymour E. Durand, who died in 1946,
died in Thompson Hospital, Tuesday, July 17, 1956 after a brief illness. She had
resided at 169 Gibson Street.
Born September
2, 1867, daughter of the late Charles Y. and Catherine E. Supplee. She
had two daughters, Katherine L. Durand and Margaret J. Durand, both of
Canandaigua, one son LeVerne Durand, also of Canandaigua, one sister,
Mrs. G. Frederick Latter, Oakland, Cal. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

- Katherine Durand formerly of
West Lake Road, died August 10, at Thompson Hospital Nursing Home. She was 104.
She was a social reporter for the Daily Messenger for 35 years, and a member of
the Congregational Church. She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret, and
her brother, S. LeVerne Durand. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In a ONTARIO COUNTY JOURNAL 1907 newspaper article it mentions
her name as a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, and that she is the daughter of Seymour
E. Durand, of Washington Street.
Also in the
CANANDAIGUA CHRONICLE June 19, 1907, a picture with her Academy class.
Margaret
J. Durand was born Canandaigua, New York May 12, 1899.[i]

Margaret J. Durand, age 90,
West Lake Road, died yesterday, Dec. 25, at Thompson Hospital. She was a
lifelong resident and was employed for many years at the Canandaigua National
Bank. She retired in 1961 as Assistant Trust Officer of the bank. She was a
member of the First Congregational Church, and was formerly active in community
affairs.
Surviving are a sister, Katerine of Thompson Hospital Nursing Home. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Her body was interred 1989 Canandaigua, New York, Woodlawn Cemetery. Listed in 1925 Canandaigua Census with parents as a Bank Bond Clerk.
Marshall R.1 Dutton was born 1865. Marshall died January 08, 1926 Rochester, New York, at 60 years of age.
