Will Contest - In the Lucy J. Grimes will contest yesterday
Dr. F. P. Warner testified to attending Mrs. Grimes in her last
illness and furnished some of the necessary information on which to base the
hypothetical question framed by the attorneys for the contestants. This question
composed of about 3800 words, was submitted to Dr. Robert Cook, superintendent
of Brigham Hall, who appeared as one of the experts for the contestants.
Today Dr. Jewitt the second expert for the contestants will be examined after having the question submitted to him and this will probably conclude their case. The contestants will endeavor to show by the testimony of their experts that Mrs. Grimes was of unsound mind. A date will be agreed upon today for the next hearing. The executors of the estate will endeavor to show by experts that Mrs. Grimes was capable of managing and disposing of her own property.
