The marriage of Miss Josephine Elizabeth Ingraham of NY City, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Demerrill C. Ingraham of Bristol, to George Gilbert Howard of New York, son of Mrs. Kathryn Howard of Plattsburg, took place at the Little Church Around the Corner in NY City Saturday evening. Her sister Miss Lois Isabelle Ingraham of New York was attendant. He was a graduate of Columbia University and is studying in Long Island College of medicine.

1910, aged 63 years.
The
death of Mrs. Irwin Hicks occurred on Tuesday from a complication of
diseases at Canandaigua hospital. Mrs. Hicks was born January 12, 1847
and resided in this town the greater part of her life.
She
leaves three daughters, Mrs. Charles Cobb of Honeoye, Mrs. Fred Higley,
and Miss Grace Hicks of S. Bristol, four sons, John H, Canandaigua,
Isaac of Pittsford, Albert and Herbert of Canandaigua. Interment at
Academy.
She

Irwin
H Hicks, life long resident of Canandaigua, died at his home on the Seneca
Point Road, after a brief illness. He was born and had always resided on the
farm on which he died, and which he had operated until his retirement about four
years ago.
Mr.
Hicks was the youngest and last of 13 children of Martin H. Hicks and
Millicent Norton Hicks, and was born November 23, 1841. On January 4, 1866
he was united in marriage to Miss Ellen Ingraham, of Naples, who died
November 1, 1910.
He
leaves three daughters, and four sons, Mrs. Grace Smith of Cedar Springs,
Mich., Mrs. Charles Cobb, Mrs. Fred Higley, John H. Hicks, Herbert N. Hicks,
and Albert Hicks all of Canandaigua, and Isaac L. Hicks of Pittsford.

- Mrs. Emma Engert, wife of Charles Engert, passed away
at her home here on Thursday, January 2, 1936. Besides her husband she is
survived by a brother, Fred Isler of Rochester, five daughters, Clara
Brizee, and Edna Anderson of Fairport, Hattie and Esther
Engert of Victor, and Ethel Engert of Macedon, three sons, Fred
of Pittsford, Charles of Victor, and George of E. Rochester, and
several grandchildren. Interment in Boughton Hill.

ELWIN - INGRAHAM Rochester
Former
East Bloomfield resident Elwin C. Ingraham, died today, September 2, at
St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was 83.
Mr. Ingraham was born October 11, 1909, in Bristol, and at one
time operated the Market Basket on Main Street in Bloomfield.
Surviving
are a daughter, and son in law, Stephanie and Robert Butler of Boca
Raton, Florida, a son, Bruce Ingraham of Bristol, a brother Norman
Ingraham, of Florida, a sister, Clela Powers of Rochester, two
grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Burial will be in Lakeview
Cemetery, Honeoye.

- The death of Mrs. George
W. Ingraham occurred at Los Angeles, Cal., on Tuesday, following a long
illness. Deceased was born at South Bristol, the daughter of Charles G. and
Sarah Putney Davis, on December 4, 1852, one of 11 children who grew to
manhood and womanhood.
Besides her husband, she leaves four sons, Demerrill C., of Bristol, Chauncey W. of Honeoye, Herbert G. and Frank C. of Los Angeles. Brothers and sisters are, Warren G. William L. and Elmer E. Davis, and Mrs. W. D. Green, of Canandaigua, Byron A. of Hemlock, Mrs. Harriet Seward, of Canadice, Frank M. Davis of Honeoye, Mrs. Frank J. Fairburn of Los Angeles, Cal. A brother Otto A. Davis passed away at Los Angeles on December 28. Interment was at Los Angeles.

April 15, 1905 Hopewell Center, New York, at 21 years of age.
Died of consumption according to Ontario County Journal. Death record
number at Hopewell is 619.

On
Sunday evening occurred the death of Warren I Ingraham, eldest son of Mr.
and Mrs. Hiram C. Ingraham, aged about 21 years. His death resulted from
consumption which he had suffered for several months.
He
is survived by his parents, two brothers, Ivan and Murray, and three
sisters, Edith, Lina and Elsie Ingraham, all of this place. The funeral
services were held on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. H. W. Sanford officiating. The
interment was in Sand Hill cemetery.
The young man was a member of the Hook and Ladder company of Canandaigua, and members of that organization acted as bearers. His body was interred 1905 Hopewell Center, New York, Chapman Cemetery.

DEATH
- Leroy Ingraham for many years a resident of Canandaigua and formerly
employed here as a harness maker, died at his home on Main Street South Monday
afternoon, aged 79 years. He was a veteran of the Civil War, a member of A M
Murray Post G. A. R.
Mr.
Ingraham was born in Naples December 31, 1845, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Harrison Ingraham, and moved to Canandaigua when about 10 years old. He
enlisted in the Union Army when a boy of 17, serving with Company D 16th Heavy
Artillery NY Vol. His father also
served in the War.
He leaves one son and six daughters, Frederick, Mrs. Ida Guilfoil, Mrs. John Keyes, Miss Grace Ingraham, Mrs. George Baker, Mrs. Thomas Collier, and Mrs. Charles Frank, all Canandaigua. Interment at West Avenue Cemetery. His body was interred 1925 Canandaigua, New York, West Avenue Cemetery.
