Edward¹ Lower birth date unknown. He married Louise Eckert. Louise was born 1852. Louise died August 22, 1926 Canandaigua, New York, at 74 years of age.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louise Lower were held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. N. Lovenheim, Main Street South, on Thursday afternoon, Rev. H. L. Gaylord of St. John's Church officiating. Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Lower was the widow of Edward Lower, and came here from Little Falls to reside with her daughter about three months ago. She was 74 years of age. Beside Mrs. Lovenheim she leaves two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Daisy Churco, of Canandaigua, Mrs. William Malone, and George Lower, of Little Falls, and Nathan J. Lower of Millerton.

Ignatz was born January 23, 1863. Ignatz died March 26, 1949 Little Falls, New York, at 86 years of age.

At 37 years of age Ignatz became the father of Eugenia Lovenheim Little Falls, New York

Daisy Lower was born in Montezuma, New York 1874. Daisy died January 22, 1938 Canandaigua, New York, at 63 years of age.

CHURCO - Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Lower Churco, 64, of South Main Street, who died at Memorial Hospital, Sunday, were held from the home of her sister, Mrs. Harriet Lovenheim, Wed. afternoon. The Rev. Dr. Herbert L. Gaylord officiated and interment made at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Churco was born in Montgomery, daughter of Edward and Louise Eckert Lower, and was the widow of James Churco. She had been a resident of the city for 12 years, and made her home with her sister, Mrs. Lovenheim, South Main St. She leaves another sister and brother, Mrs. William Malone of Little Falls, and Nathan Lower of Binghamton. She married James Churco

Daisy Churco is listed with Albert Hanley in the 1925 Canandaigua Census. She is age 51 years.

Eugenia Lower was born Little Falls, New York 1881. Eugenia died February 27, 1898 Canandaigua, New York, at 16 years of age.

DIED - LOWER - At Canandaigua, February 27, 1898, Miss Eugenia Lower, aged 17 years.

On Sunday evening occurred the death of Eugenia Lower, at the home of her uncle, Eugene McCarthur, 67 Main Street, aged 17 years. She had been ill but ten days, but from the first suffered intense agony, and in spite of all that medical aid could do, passed away, Sunday evening. Death was due to Peritonitis.

Miss Lower had many friends in this village to whom her death is a deep personal loss. She leaves a father and mother who reside in Little Falls, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers. Funeral was held from St. John's Church Wednesday, Rev. C. J. Clausen officiating.

George Lower was born 1893. George died June 24, 1932 Rochester, New York, at 38 years of age.

LOWER - George Lower, W W Veteran formerly of Little Falls, died at the General Hospital in Rochester, Friday morning at the age of 39. He is survived by a daughter, Eleanor of Herkimer, three sisters, Mrs. D. L. Churco of Rochester, Mrs. I. N. Lovenheim of Canandaigua, and Mrs. William Malone of Little Falls, and one brother, Nathan of Valley Field, Quebec.

Funeral services held from the home of his sister Mrs. Lovenheim of South Main Street Monday PM, Rev. Herbert L. Gaylord officiating. Service with full military honors conducted in Woodlawn by Canandaigua Post American Legion. His body was interred 1932 Canandaigua, New York, Woodlawn Cemetery.

Holmes C.³ Lucas was born Canandaigua, New York August 15, 1818. His stone marker says his birth year is 1819. Holmes died November 26, 1896 Canandaigua, New York, at 78 years of age.^[i] [i]. ONTARIO COUNTY Records at City Clerk office in Canandaigua, record number 1415.The record states he was a retired merchant.

HOLMES C. LUCAS - Late Saturday night occurred the sudden death from apoplexy of Holmes C. Lucas, one of Canandaigua's oldest businessmen, aged 76 years. Deceased had been in feeble health for some time past, but on Saturday before his demise had been in apparently more than ordinary good health and spirits.

Holmes C. Lucas was best known through Ontario County as a dealer in hops and wool, but for 27 years he was connected with the Express Business, having been a local agent for the Wells Fargo and Co., and later for the American Express Co.

He is survived by a son, Zebina Lucas, and a daughter, Miss Georgia Lucas, both of this place. Deceased was a prominent member of Canandaigua Lodge F and A M. His body was interred 1896 Canandaigua, New York, Woodlawn Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Fanny Sylvia W. . Fanny was born 1825. Fanny died March 30, 1846 at 20 years of age. Her body was interred 1846 Bristol, New York, Lucas Cemetery.

He married 2nd Fanny Saunders Pratt. Fanny was born Gorham, New York January 1819. Fanny was the daughter of Elisha Pratt and Elizabeth. Fanny died April 21, 1894 Canandaigua, New York, at 75 years of age.^[i] [i]. Canandaigua City Clerk office record number 1171.The record gives her age as 74 years and 2 months, born Gorham.

Death of Mrs. Lucas - Mrs. Fannie Saunders Lucas, wife of Holmes C. Lucas, died suddenly of heart failure, at her home on upper Main Street last Saturday morning, aged 74 years. About a week prior to her death, Mrs. Lucas had met with a slight accident to one of her limbs, which necessitated her remaining in bed a greater part of the time.

On Saturday morning she ate a hearty breakfast, and felt much better. Shortly after breakfast however, Mr. Lucas was attracted by her calling to him. She then complained of not feeling well, and Mr. Lucas immediately went for Dr. Carson. When the Dr. arrived she was rapidly sinking, and lived but a few minutes.

Zebina⁴ Lucas was born April 25, 1844. Zebina died June 24, 1912 Bath, New York, at 68 years of age.

DIED - Zebina Lucas died in Bath, NY June 24, 1912 about 68 years old. He was the son of Holmes C. Lucas.

DEATHS OF THE WEEK ZEBINA LUCAS

The death of Zebina Lucas, a former well known resident of Canandaigua, occurred at the Soldiers Home in Bath, on Monday. Mr. Lucas was a son of the late Holmes C. Lucas, and was about 68 years of age.

He is survived by a son, Fred Lucas of Elmira, relief agent for the Northern Central railway, and by a sister, Miss Georgia Lucas, of Fairport. The remains were interred in Woodlawn, a short service being conducted at the grave yesterday afternoon, by the members of Canandaigua lodge, F and A M of which Mr. Lucas was a member.

His body was interred June 27, 1912 Canandaigua, New York, Woodlawn Cemetery.

The Lyons Press states that Tuesday a divorce was granted in that village to Ella Lucas from Zebina Lucas. Both parties formerly lived here, and the defendant still does.

Melissa² Lyon was born Canandaigua, New York July 06, 1907. She married Lynn J. Outhouse Canandaigua, New York, 1931. Lynn was born 1907. Lynn was the son of Elmer J. Outhouse and Harriet Alberta Nott . Lynn died June 11, 1938 Canandaigua, New York, at 30 years of age.

Lynn J. Outhouse, 31, died Saturday, home on Chapin Street. Died after an operation, and will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery. Born in Canandaigua the son of the late Elmer J. and Alberta Nott Outhouse. His wife, Mrs. Melissa Lyon Outhouse.

OBITUARY - OUTHOUSE

Funeral services for Lynn J. Outhouse, 31, who died Saturday morning, in Memorial Hospital, following an operation, were held from the home in Chapin Street, Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Dr. Herbert L. Gaylord officiating. Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Outhouse was born in Canandaigua, a son of the late Elmer J. and Alberta Nott Outhouse. He attended Canandaigua Academy and had been engaged in the auto repair business for some years. Besides his wife, Mrs. Melissa Lyon Outhouse, he leaves two sons, Lynn, Jr. and Eric Jon, three brothers, Gordon, Horace and Carlton Outhouse, all of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Russell Coryell of Dresden.
