Josiah Pierce and Hersalora C. had the following child:

Jennie L.3 Pierce was born 1859.  She married Robert Melvin Pierce in Allens Hill, New York, March 19, 1879.

                                Note the month of March may have been a mistake by the newspaper.

Robert was born Bristol, New York January 09, 1851.  Robert was the son of William H. Pierce and Rowena T. Carpenter.  He married Minerva Hannah Andrews December 31, 1873.

MARRIED    PIERCE  -  ANDREWS    At Baptist Hill, by the Rev. Mr. Jewell, Mr. Melvin Pierce and Miss Minerva Andrews, all of that place.

He married Ida M. Pierce Canandaigua, New York, January 06, 1885.  Robert died August 08, 1937 Canandaigua, New York, at 86 years of age.

                        OBITUARY -    PIERCE

The death of Robert Melvin Pierce, 86, 0f Bristol Court, lifelong resident of Ontario County and a former town welfare officer, occurred, Sunday evening in Memorial hospital, where he had been ill for several weeks. Mr. Pierce was born in the town of Bristol, January 9, 1851, son of William and Rowena Carpenter Pierce.

 He lived for 48 years on his farm on the Cheshire road, moving to Canandaigua nine years ago to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Mabel Sangster. He had served several terms as town welfare officer and was a charter member of the Canandaigua Grange.

He leaves two sons and two daughters, Leon J. and Rollin M. Pierce, Mrs. Mabel Sangster, and Mrs. Carlton McMillan, all of Canandaigua, also three brothers, Benton T. Pierce of Reed Corners, Leighton and George W. Pierce of Canandaigua, 16 grandchildren and three gr grandchildren. The funeral was held on Wednesday from the home of Mrs. Sangster in Bristol Court. Interment made in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristol.

 Ida M. Pierce was born New York June 1866.  Ida died October 28, 1922 Canandaigua, New York, at 56 years of age.

                          OBITUARY -    Mrs. R. Melvin Pierce

 Mrs. Ida Pierce, aged 56 years, wife of R. Melvin Pierce of Canandaigua town, died suddenly at her home Saturday afternoon following a stroke of apoplexy. Funeral services were held from the home yesterday afternoon, Rev. Livingston L. Taylor of the Congregational church officiating. Interment was in Baptist Hill cemetery.

 Deceased leaves her husband, two sons and two daughters, Leon and Rolland Pierce, Mrs. Carlton McMillan and Mrs. George Sangster, all of Canandaigua. She married Robert Melvin Pierce Canandaigua, New York, January 06, 1885.                         

                           Robert died August 08, 1937 Canandaigua, New York, at 86 years of age.

MARRIED     PIERCE -   ANDREWS  At Baptist Hill, by the Rev. Mr. Jewell, Mr. Melvin Pierce and Miss Minerva Andrews, all of that place.

Minerva was born Canandaigua, New York May 10, 1845.  Minerva was the daughter of Royal Aldrich Andrews and Hannah Evarts.  Minerva died March 11, 1875 Canandaigua, New York, at 29 years of age.

 PIERCE -     In Bristol, March 11th, 1875, Mrs. Minerva H., wife of Mr. Melvin Pierce, aged 29 years, 5 mos, 6 days.

                    At 29 years of age Minerva became the mother of Minerva Hannah Pierce Canandaigua, New York, March 05, 1875.  Her stone marker has a birth year as 1836.  

          He married Jennie L. Pierce in Allens Hill, New York, March 19, 1879.

 He married Ida M. Pierce Canandaigua, New York, January 06, 1885. Ida was born New York June 1866.  Ida was the daughter of Josiah Pierce and Hersalora C.   Ida died October 28, 1922 Canandaigua, New York, at 56 years of age.

                                  MARRIED      McMILLAN  -   PIERCE    In Canandaigua town, November 27, 1918, Carlton George McMillan and Miss Jennie L. Pierce, both of Canandaigua town.

                                                        McMILLAN -  PIERCE

The marriage of Carlton George McMillan and Miss Jennie L. Pierce took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Melvin Pierce, Cheshire road, Wednesday afternoon, at 5 30 o'clock.  Rev. C. Clarence Baker performed the ceremony in the presence of 80 relatives and friends.  The house was profusely decorated with crepe paper and chrysanthemums to carry out the color scheme of yellow and white.

The bride wore a gown of white crepe silk trimmed and carried white carnations. Mrs. James K. Haire played the wedding music. Dinner was served following the ceremony. The couple left during the evening for a southern trip after which they will reside on the Holcomb road. The bride's going away gown was blue silvertone with taupe hat. 

Prenuptial events were a dinner by the employees of the Canandaigua Dry Goods Company at the Canandaigua Hotel, a variety shower given by Mrs. James K. Haire and Mrs. Clare Case, at the home of Mrs. Haire, a kitchen shower by Mrs. George Sangster and a variety shower by Mrs. Roy Hurlbutt.

Minerva Hannah Pierce  was born Canandaigua, New York March 05, 1875.  Minerva  died February 10, 1914 Canandaigua, New York, at 38 years of age.

                                                  Mrs. CHARLES NOTT

Aged about 35 years, wife of Charles Nott, of the West Lake Shore Road, died at the Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon following an operation for gall stones about five weeks ago.

She is survived by her husband and three small children, also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Melvin Pierce, and two brothers, Leon and Rollin, and three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Sangster, Mrs. Jessie Case, and Miss Jennie Pierce.

NOTT -  The death of Mrs. Minerva H. Pierce, wife of Charles E. Nott, West Lake Road, occurred at Memorial Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Deceased underwent an operation five weeks ago. 

She was born in Bristol, on March 5, 1875. Besides her husband, she leaves three small sons, Melvin C. , Sibley E., and Walter, her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Melvin Pierce, two brothers, Leon and Rollen Pierce, three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Case, Mrs. Mabel Sangster, and Miss Jennie Pierce, of Canandaigua. 

The funeral services will be held from the parents home on Cheshire Road, today. Rev. Livingston L. Taylor will officiate. Interment will be at Bristol. Her body was interred 1914 Bristol, New York, Flatiron Road Cemetery. 

 She married Charles Frances Nott Rochester, New York, April 06, 1905.

 At Rochester, April 6, 1905, Charles Nott of Cheshire and Miss Minerva Pierce of Canandaigua. Announcement is made of the marriage on April 6, 1905 at Rochester, by Rev. Dr. S. B. Nelson of St. Peter's Presbyterian church, of Miss Minerva Pierce to Mr. Charles Nott, both of Canandaigua.

Charles was born July 1874.  Charles was the son of Sibley Ebenezer Nott and Elinor Elwell.  Charles died 1951 at 76 years of age.  His body was interred 1951 Bristol, New York, Flatiron Road Cemeterty.

                       At 36 years of age Charles became the father of Melvin Charles Nott Canandaigua, New York, November 16, 1910.

               He married Barbara A. Shearer December 27, 1911. Barbara was born New York 1892.  Barbara is the daughter of Thomas Shearer and Mary Murray Lees.  At 20 years of age Barbara became the mother of Melvin Thomas Pierce Canandaigua, New York, January 12, 1913.

                At 23 years of age Leon became the father of Melvin Thomas Pierce Canandaigua, New York, January 12, 1913.

         Ida M. Pierce    was born 1915.  She married an unknown person Reed Corners, New York, January 23, 1937.

                                         WEDDING  BELLS       HIGLEY -  PIERCE 

The marriage of Miss Ida M. Pierce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon J. Pierce, of the Cheshire Road, and William F. Higley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Higley, of Academy, took place at Reed Corners, Saturday evening at 8 PM in the home of the officiating clergyman, the Rev. Ralph D. Ross, pastor of the Cheshire Community church.

 The bride who was attended by Mrs. Gladys Higley Vogt, of Canandaigua, sister of the bridegroom, wore a dark blue printed crepe with a corsage bouquet of pink rosebuds.  Her matron of honor was in blue crepe and wore pink sweet peas. Robert Pierce, of Canandaigua, brother of the bride, was best man.

Mr. and Mrs. Higley will live with his parents on the Academy tract.  He attended Canandaigua Academy and she was a member of the 1933 class.

Ralph William3 Pimm  was born Riga, New York May 02, 1909. Ralph died March 26, 1996 New York, at 86 years of age.    He married Helen Elizabeth Bundy Canandaigua, New York, January 18, 1935.  Married by John H. Willis, in the presence of Allen and Ruth Pimm. Ralph Pimm was listed as a farmer. Methodist and Episcopal Church in Canandaigua, NY.

PIMM  -  BUNDY -   Miss Helen Elizabeth Bundy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bundy of Hopewell, and Ralph William Pimm of Farmington, were married at the Methodist parsonage here Friday afternoon, the Rev. John H. Willis performing the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Pimm, of Farmington, brother and sister of the couple, were the attendants. After a short western trip, Mr. and Mrs. Pimm will live in Farmington.

Ralph William Pimm and Helen Elizabeth Bundy had the following children:

Dale Pimm, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pimm, who has been ill with pneumonia in Thompson Hospital, has returned to his home on Spangle Street.

Allen Irving3 Pimm  was born Fairport, New York November 16, 1911.  Allen died February 17, 1989 New York, at 77 years of age.  Information taken from SSDI.    He married Ruth Cornelia Bundy Williamson, New York, August 23, 1933.  Witnessed by Paul M. Bundy and Mary E. Wallridge. The Historical Museum in Canandaigua has a book showing Methodist and Episcopal Church records in Canandaigua, NY with these two marrying there.

                                                    MARRIAGE   PIMM - BUNDY  

Miss Ruth Cornelia Bundy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bundy of Hopewell, and Allen Irving Pimm, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pimm of Farmington, were married at the summer home of the officiating clergyman, Rev. S. G. Houghton, at Holland's Cove, Lake Ontario, Wednesday afternoon.

Attendants were Paul W. Bundy and Miss Mary Walbridge of Canandaigua. Following a trip through the Western part of the state, Mr. and Mrs. Pimm will live with his parents. 

Shirley Ruth Pimm  was born March 1934.  Shirley died December 04, 1936 Canandaigua, New York, at 2 years of age.

                       OBITUARY -    PIMM

Funeral services for Shirley Ruth Pimm, 22 months old daughter of Allen and Ruth Bundy Pimm of Farmington, who died of pneumonia Friday morning in Memorial Hospital were held Monday afternoon. Interment made in Shortsville. 

 Besides her parents she leaves one sister, Myrna Ester Pimm at home, her grandparents, William Pimm of Farmington, and Mr. and Mrs. William Bundy of Hopewell, and her great grandmothers, Mrs. Cornelia Bundy of this city and Mrs. Emma Greer of Farmington. Her body was interred 1936 Shortsville, New York.
