DIED.

Aug. 8--at Circleville, afer a long and lingering illness, and in the full hope of a blessed immortality, Julia Ayers, widow of the late Ænas Ayres, aged 78 years.  Mrs. A. Was a member of the Scotchtown Church, and had been a communicant for nearly sixty years.  "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."

July 22--In Montgomery, George, son of William Boyes, aged 13 years.
The deceased was  a lad of unusual promise, and the vigor of his mental powers bid fair to elevate him to honor and usefulness.  He was the pride of his parents, and in him were centered their fondest hopes and anticipations.  Born in England, he emigrated a few years since with his parents to the United States.  He was a member of Montgomery Academy, and was noted for his proficiency and rapid progress in his studies.  He was formerly a scholar of the writer, and was highly esteemed by him for his docility, manliness, and attention to study.  He was attacked with bone erysipelas in one of his legs , which, entering his body, terminated his life after an illness of only five days.  Thus a plant of the fairest promise has been blighted by the frosts of death.
