DIED.

Dec. 15--In Montgomery, Major Isaac Bramin, a soldier of the war of 1812, aged about 60 years.
Mr. B died of the palsey.  He was an honest and independent citizen, widely known and esteemed.  He served as drum major throughout the war of 1812, and was severly wounded several times.  He served under Gen. Scott, for whom he entertained the most enthusiastic admiration, and once administered a severe rebuke to a defamer of the glorious hero, which found its way in the Whig Press during the late Presidential campaign.  He was a farrier, a barber, and a most excellent musician.  He loved to live his battles over again.  In hunting, he was a perfect Nimrod; and in pursuing a fox, or in any species of hunting that required skill, dexterity, and management, he was rarely equalled.  "The wild animals of the wood," having lost their most inveterate pursurer, will now enjoy for a time secure repose.  The blunt, though generous-hearted veteran, is gone--peace to his ashes.

Dec. 20--In Newburgh, of typhus fever, Daniel G. Niven, esq., aged 53 years.
Mr. N. had been in the employ of the Erie railroad Co., at Dunkirk, and only returned home about a week since.

Dec. 18--In Wallkill, George Miller, aged 87 ys.
Mr. M. was one of the first settlers in the northern part of this town.

Dec. 9--In Newburgh, Cornelius L. Waring, aged about 35 years.  12--Catharine, wife of Patrick Pursall, aged 20 years.  14--Mary, child of Hiram H. Wood, aged 10 months.

Dec. 10--At Unionville, Josephine, daughter of Z.G. Gordon, of Goshen, aged about 7 years.

Dec. 18--At West Point, Eliza V.S., relict of the late Prof. Z.J.D. Kinsley.
