SAD AND FATAL R.R. ACCIDENT--A Man Cut to Pieces
The Tri-States Union says, Mr. Fred Keene, flagman for Ed. Middaugh, met with a violent and sudden death on Tuesday night last, near Sparrowbush. He was sitting on the end of the first car, the engine having passed to the rear and of the train to push them down, when a sudden lurch of the car threw him directly on the track, the cars passing over him, crushing him to death and mangling his body horribly. The remains were brought to Port Jervis.
