Dec. 19--In Brocksville, Ezra Wyatt, Esq., in the 60th year of his age, leaving seven children and twenty-nine grand-children.
The deceased was one of the pioneers of the Western Reserve, having emigrated from Newburgh, N. Y. to Newburgh, Cuyahoga co., Ohio, in 1799. In that year, with two companions, left Buffalo in an open boat, and were two weeks rowing to the mouth of the Cuyahoga river, and at once preceeded to Newburgh, where he erected the first Grist Mill on the Reserve. He lived to see this section of country wrested from the aborigines and made productive; was a useful and much esteemed citizen. ----- Communicated.
