Nov. 5--Henry Hinton, only child of John Jessup, aged 3 years, and 1 month.
Oct. 27--In Lehman Township, Pa., Nancy, wife of Samuel Elston, formerly of Minisink, aged 63 years.
Nov. 12--In Hamptonburgh, Jeannie Scott Moore, aged 23 years.
Oct. 21--In Goshen, John Crane, aged about 47 years. His remains were interred at Warwick.
Nov. 13--In Newburgh, Mary Frances, daughter of William Brown, aged 9 years and 6 months. 16th, Emmet, child of George Patten, aged 5 years. 15th, Catharine, wife of James Whalan, aged 40 years. 16th, Mary E., child of John Byrns, aged 1 month, 17 days.
Nov. 8--In Forestburgh, Wm. L. Cox, aged 27 years.
Nov. 16--In Newburgh, Joseph Hoffman, in the 79th year of his age.
Mr. H. was one of the first permanent settlers in what is now the village of Newburgh. From an infant settlement he has been a witness of its progress, has shared in its struggles and reverses, and his life has closed amid the evidence of its wealth and permanent prosperity.
