MRS. PERRINE DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME
Had Been Resident of City 25 Years

     Mrs. Caroline Perrine, wife of Peter Perrine, died very suddenly Wednesday evening, at her home, 92 Montgomery street.  Death was hastened by apoplexy.  She was 67 years and 26 days old and was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends, to whom her death came as a great shock.
     Caroline Perrine was born in Italy, December 10, 1848, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bingio Sarnges.  She had been a resident of Middletown for the past 25 years and had been an active member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
     Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Benjamin and Patrick, and two daughters, Angelina, of this city; and Mary of Toronto, Canada.
     The funeral will be held at the home of her son, 71 Cottage street, at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning and at 10 o'clock at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, where requiem high mass will be offered for the repose of her soul.  Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
