Sudden Death,
Mr. John S. Redfield, father-in-law of Mr. Horton Vail, died very suddenly last Thursday evening at his residence on High street. The immediate cause of his death was hemorrhage of the lungs. He has been in feeble health for some time from consumption, and lately had had several attacks of bleeding. Notwithstanding his physician's advice, he continued to go out doors every day. In the evening he had an unusually severe attack of bleeding while he was at the barn taking care of his horse. He was brought to the house, and died within fifteen minutes afterwards. He was in his sixty-fourth year.
