"WOOD--In Alameda, (California) June 5, 1934, Carrie Vale Wood, beloved wife of Albert Wood, and loving mother of Ruth L., Orville E., and Lelia Mae Wood, and sister of Mrs. E. K. Ritt (Eva Conklin) of Baltimore, Maryland; a native of New York, aged 40 years, 29 days.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral at the Grant Miller Mortuary, ?? East 44th Street, Oakland, (California) Friday, June 8, 1934, at 11:30 ???. Internment Evergreen Cemetery"
Carrie Vail Conklin is the daughter of James and Ruth K (nee Pilgrim) Conklin. She was born in Middletown, May 7, 1894 . Her father was born in Walden and her mother in Goshen. Carrie is the granddaughter of Eaton Jones Vail and great granddaughter of Asa Vail. Her mother is the daughter of John Pilgrim, a Civil War casualty, and Caroline S. Vail.
