MIDDLETOWN -- Innes B. Slover, 75, of 39 Wallkill Ave., Middletown, died Tuesday in Middletown.
Mrs. Slover, a lifetime area resident, was born Sept. 17, 1905, in Middletown, to Henry and Florence Brien. The widow of Jesse J. Slover, she belonged to the Daughters of America and the Middletown Republican Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Van Ben Schoten of Middletown; a son, Thomas J. Slover of Long Island; two grandsons; and four great-grandsons.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 11 Orchard St., Middletown. The Rev. Lyle Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg, at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Middletown Chapter of the American Cancer Society or the Circleville Presbyterian Church Hospital Equipment Fund.

MIDDLETOWN --- Jesse J. Slover, 74, of 39 Wallkill Ave., Middletown, died Sunday at Horton Memorial Hospital in Middletown after a long illness.
He was born in Boundbrook, N.J. Feb. 15, 1900, to Moses and Cora Armstrong Slover. He was married in Middletown in 1924 to Innes Brien.
A 50-year area resident, Mr. Slover was the former owner of Whitaker Rug Service in Middletown. He was a member of the United Commercial Travelers and the National ARRP Senior Citizens Club.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Janice VanBenschoten of Middletown; a son, Thomas J. Slover of Pittsburgh, Pa; a sister, Mrs. Viola Richards of Kingston; a brother, Elihu Slover of Buffalo; two grandsons and a great grandson.
Services will be at 9:30 Wednesday in the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 11 Orchard St., Middletown, with the Rev. Francis Carlson, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Middletown, officiating.
Firends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9. An American Indian prayer service will be held at 8 tonight in the funeral home.
Burial will be in the family plot at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

THOMAS JAMES SLOVER of Center Moriches, Long Island, formerly of Middletown, a 14-year employee for Culligan Water Systems, Long Island, and 14-year resident of the area, died Tuesday, April 20, at Central Suffolk Hospital, Riverhead, Long Island. He was 50.
The son of the late Jesse and Innes Brien Slover, he was born March 29, 1943, in Middletown. He was a graduate of State University College at New Paltz; a member of the American Society of Insignia Collectors; a member of East End Surf Club, Long Island; a member of the Riverhead Dart League; and a former football and baseball athlete at Middletown High School.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Slover, at home; one step-son, Christopher Billeci, at home; one step-daughter, Joanna Billeci, at home; one sister, Janice VanBenschoten of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Tuthill Funeral Home, Riverhead.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
