Index of Names from the
"Van Bunschoten or Van Benschoten Family in America"
by William Henry Van Benschoten
published, 1907 West Park-On-Hudson, N.Y.
Many of these names are connected to Orange County, New York, some are not; I have included the entire index, but you should not automatically assume that a particular individual has lived in Orange County.

The Van Bunschoten/Van Benschoten family was first recorded on April 3, 1671, in Kingston, New York, his name was Theunis Eliasen, where he acts as witness to a transaction between Regnier Van der Coelle and Henry Pawling.

The numbers here given after the names indicate the pages on which they appear in the birth-lists. To find them again search the pages following the lists for the re-appearance of the cumulative Arabic number preceding each name in the birth-list.

The index includes: all born to the name; in the female lines, all husbands, children and their husbands, and grandchildren. In all lines children dying as minors are not indexed.
