Will of Elizabeth Frederick
June 3, 1851/Jan19, 1852
"I, Elizabeth Frederick, of the town of Monroe, county of Orange, state of New York, widow of Jacob Frederick, of the Town aforesaid, deceased, being advanced in age but of sound disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this instrument in writing for my last will and testament in manner and form as follows.  First, I order and direct all my just debts, funeral and other necessary expenses to be paid by my executors, hereinafter named, in as short a time as may be convenient after my decease. Second, I give and bequeath unto Martha L. Chase now living with me all the residue of my estate both real and personal to he her heirs and assigns forever by her paying the following legacies: to Hannah White the sum of fifty dollars, to my son, John Frederick, the sum of five dollars and all of the above legacies to be paid in two years after my decease. Lastly, I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Demarest Haring and James Smith executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me, made declaring this to be my last. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my name this seventh day of June 1851. " Elizabeth Fredericks- her mark.
