LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MARGARET GRAY
In the name of god, Amen. I Margaret Gray of Monroe in the County of Orange Widow being mindful of my mortality do this Eight day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty eight make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner following. First I desire to be decently buried with as little expense as may be Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Margeret Boughton my cow my feather bed and bedding my new clock my chest together with all my clothing and wearing apparel of what kind soever and I do constitute and appoint my said daughter Margaret Boughton my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written

The above instrument consisting of one sheet that was now here subscribed by Margaret Gray the testator in the presence of us and was at the same time declared by her to be her last will and testament and we at her request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses
