Between Mary Ackerman and John Heady [44:508]

Deed recorded at Putnam Liber Book 44, p. 508 between Mary Ackerman and John Heady, both of Putnam Valley. Deed was dated 29 April 1862 and witnessed by Raymond (Barger?) with consideration given of $100. Land was in Putnam Valley and was for 6 acres and 15 rods of land.

Beginning at a hickory tree on the east side of highway leading from JOHN CONKLIN to Nob Crick line thence north 75 degrees west along Conklins land 11 chains and 52 links to the stake and rock then south 14 degrees west 1 chain and 35 links with the stone wall then north 84 degrees west 3 chains to a chestnut tree marked then south 12 1/2 degrees west 1 chain and 74 links to a black oak tree marked in corner of a wall thence south 82 degrees east 3 chains to a stake in a rock then south 13 degrees west 1 chain 33 links to the south side of a road thence along said road an easterly and southerly course about 5 chains 10 links to fence and TOMPKINS land thence south 76 1/2 degrees east along said Tompkins land 5 chains and 54 links to the place of beginning.
