Between Daniel & Mary Jane Heady and Ebenezar Travis [43:276]

Deed recorded in Putnam County, Grantor Book 43, pp. 276-277 between Daniel Heady and Mary Jane his wife and Ebenezar Travis, all of Putnam Valley. Deed is dated 23 March 1866, witnessed by William C. Leckley, JOP and recorded 22 Oct 1866. Consideration given was $1000 for two parcels of land in Putnam Valley. Parcel #1 contained about 1 acre; #2 contained 76 rods.

#1 On the north by land formerly of ABIJAH LEE on the east by land formerly of HUGH (C or E? WILSON on the south by lands of the same and on the west by the road commonly called the MILL ROAD.

#2 Beginning on the highway commonly called the MILL ROAD at the corner of the above described land and running thence along said highway north 2 1/2 degrees east 1 chain and 50 links thence due east 3 chains and 36 links thence (north or south?) 10 degrees west 1 chain and 50 links thence due west 3 chains to...beginning.
