Between Whitfield & Ivy Saterlee and Isaac Hadden [32:349]

Putnam County Deed Book 32, pp. 349-350, between Whitfield Saterlee and Ivy his wife and Isaac Hadden, all of Putnam Valley. Deed was dated 9 April 1855, recorded 8 August 1857. Witnessed by Alfred Crawford. Land was in Putnam Valley:

Beginning at a hemlock tree on the south side of the highway thence runningn southerly with a ledge or (ulp?) of rock with the top of said ledge or (ulp?) of rocks about 6 chains to a pine tree marked thence easterly about 4 chains to a butternut tree in the line of said HADDEN then northerly with said Haddens land to a heap of stones thence westerly about 1 rod to the place of beginning. Containing 1 1/2 acres.
