In the name of God amen. I Sibert Cronk of the town of Philips. County of Dutchess and State of New York being low in health And of sound and disposing of mind and memory. But considering the mortality of all men and the uncertainty of this life and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs whilst I have abilities and strength so to do, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say Firstly and principally I commit my body to the earth to be entered in a decent manner and my soul to the hand of my Creator who gave it. And as for what worldly estate which with I am possessed of I dispose thereof in manner Following viz. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Cornelius Cronk two horses, two cows and two two year old heffers. And my will and mind is that my executors herein after mentioned. And I do otherwise and empower them to sell all of my real estate and the remainder of my personal estate that I have not yet give away. And after paying all my just debts and charges Item I give and bequeath unto my son Cornelius Cronk two hundred and fifty Dollars to him his heirs and assigns forever. And then my will and mind is that the residue of my estate should be divided equally and impartially between my son Cornelius Cronk my daughter Sally Dean, my daughter Elizabeth Wixson, my daughter Dina Wixson, my daughter Fanny Smith, and my daughter Polly Fordge unto them their heirs and assigns forever, to be equally and impartially divided between them one equal sixth part to each of them. And my will and mind is that my executors do sell all my real estate and what personal estate that I have not named and given away be sold as soon as may be after my death to an advantage for the said legatees. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son in law Elijah Dean and my son in law John Wixson my executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I the said Sibert Cronk have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal to this my last will and Testament this twenty second day of August in the Year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and seven. Sibert {his X mark} Cronk Signed, sealed and published in the presence of Richard Carman, Henry Lickley, Jonathan Ferris.

Dutchess County SS: Be is remembered that on the fifteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and seven personally appeared before me, James Tallmadge Junr, Surrogate of the said County Jonathan Ferris who on oath declared that he did see Sibert Cronk sign and seal the annexed written instrument purporting to be the will of the said Sibert Cronk bearing date the twenty second day of August one thousand eight hundred and seven. And heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last will and testament. That at the time thereof he the said Sibert Cronk was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him the Deponent. And the Deponent Richard Carman and Henry Lickley severally subscribed the said will as Witnesses thereto in the Testators presence. James Tallmadge Junr Surrogate-

The People of the State of New York by the grace of god free and independent: To all to whom these presents shall come as may concern send greeting Know Ye that at Poughkeepsie in Dutchess County on the fifteenth day of September in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and seven before me James Tallmadge Junr Esquire, Surrogate of our said County, the last will and Testament of Sibert Cronk, deceased ( a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) was proved and is now approved and allowed of by us. And the said deceased having whilst he lived and at the time of his death Goods Chattels or Credits within this State By means whereof the proving and Registering the said will and the granting administration of all and singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits. And also the auditing allowing and final discharging the amount thereof doth belong unto us the administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased and any way concerning his will is granted unto Elijah Dean and John Wixson Executors in the said Will named. they being first duly sworn well and faithfully to administer the same. And to make and exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said Goods, Chattels and Credits and also to Render a just and true account thereof when thereunto Required. In testimony whereof we have caused the Seal of office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed. Witness James Tallmadge Junr Esquire Surrogate of said County at Poughkeepsie the fifteenth day of September in the Year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and seven and of our Independednce the thirty second.
