Private Property

PUTNAM Peter Sr. 1750's NJ - Oct 3, 1835, aged 8?y; husb of Sarah KINNAN; Rev War Soldier
PUTNAM Sarah abt 1761 - Nov 23, 1841; aged 80y; wife of Peter Sr.; nee KINNAN

[Located on the Barrington Rifle Club property. There were at least 4 Peter Putnam's and this is believed to be the Peter who came from NJ in 1812. .  There is no trace remaining of the Putnam family plot & could not be found in any land records of its exact location on their farm. [Peter G, son of Peter Putnam Jr. & Margaret, bought a farm on the south side of Gray Rd. in about 1820]
