John J. HAIGHT of Ninepartners Town of Washington County of Dutchess and State of New York son of Jonathan HAIGHT and Elizabeth his wife Deceased and Sarah WILLETS daughter of James WILLETS and Joanna his wife of the Town County and state aforesaid having laid their intentions of marrage with each other before two Monthly Meetings of the Religious Society of friends held at Ninepartners in the State aforesaid they having consent of parants and Nothing appearing to obstruct their proposals of Marrage was allowed of by the Meeting These are to Certafy that for the accomplishment of their intentions this Twenty second Day of Eleventh month in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and ten they the said John J. HAIGHT and Sarah WILLETS appeard at a Publick Meeting of said society held at Ninepartners and the said John J. HAIGHT taking the said Sarah WILLETS by the hand Did on this solemn occasion Declare that he took her to be his wife promising through Divine assistance to be unto her a faithful and loving husband untill separated by Death or words to that Effect and then the said Sarah WILLETS Did in like manner Declare that she took the said John J. HAIGHT to be her Husband promising through Divine assistance to be unto him a faithful and loving Wife untill separated by Death or words to that import and they the said John J. HAIGHT and Sarah WILLETS she according tot he custom of marrage assuming the Name of her husband as a further Confirmation thereof Did then and there to these presents set their hands. John J. HAIGHT Sarah W. HAIGHT And we Being present have subscribed our names as witnesses thereof
