Whereas there hath been Intentions of Marriage between Thomas FARRINGTON of Flushing on Nassau Island in the province of New York and Kezia BAKER of the White plains in Westchester County and province aforesaid they having Published their said Intentions of marriage at two Several Monthly meetings of the peopled Called Quakers held at Mamarineck and there appearing no just cause to hinder their said marriage from being Accomplished According to Gods ordinance and the good order of Truth a[...]ed amongst the Said people. Therefore on the fifteenth day of the Seventh month in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and forty nine at a meeting of the aforesaid people & others in the meeting house at Mamarineck the abovesaid Thomas FARRINGTON takeing the said Kezia BAKER by the hand and declared that he took the Said Kezia BAKER to be his wife and did promise to be to her a faithfull and Loving husband untill Death Should Seperate them And also The Said Kezia BAKER whilst holding Thomas FARRINGTON by the hand did declare that She took the Said Thomas FARRINGTON for her husband and did promise to be to him a faithfull and Loving Wife untill Death Should Seperate them or words to that Effect and also the Said Thomas FARRINGTON and Kezia his now wife as a further confirmation of their promise to each other have hereunto subscribed their name the date and year above written in the presence of us whose names are also hereunto Subscribed as witnesses of the same.
